The learning environment as a predictor of higher order thinking skills

The learning environment is one of the elements that will influence higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). purpose this study was to test on HOTS. researcher selected 82 forms two students from secondary schools in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, Malaysia, as sample. has adopted a set questionnaires have been developed by previous researchers and questionnaire himself. Multiple regression analysis found material cooperation between students’ constructs are predictors Therefore, Ministry Education Malaysia stakeholder education sector country expected to: i) Allocate ample expenditure purchase maintain all laboratory equipment materials ii) Organize workshops maintenance for assistants high school ensure they always best possible condition. suggested future studies focus producing modules science assistants’ use. It hoped with module, improving Malaysian HOTS be easily achieved 2025.
